Introduction to this series

Once We talked about those Monarchs of the Great Britain, there were always some of them that had to be mentioned time by time. In fact, these three monarchs are perhaps be the most famous and the most long-influence monarchs of Britain. And of the enormous influence of Britian, their names were also well-knowned all about the world. Anybody, as long as they mentioned their names anytime, anyhow, anywhere, almost everybody shall immediately know who they are. And the names of these three monarchs are: Henry Ⅷ, ElizabethⅠ, and Queen Victoria. Today, by this series ‘A Brief Biography and Interesting Facts of Three Most Famous English Monarches in their Time and Life‘ on my blog, I want to take you back to the world of those English Monarchs’.

The cause for me to write this series is about my English studies. I just ended the study of a book called ‘Great English Monarchs and Their Times‘ in the Black Cat series, and my English teacher requested me of write a short summary to this book. But when I reviewed the whole book, I found I had a lot of questions about that. For example, it was mentioned in this book the ‘Henry’s break with Rome’, but I have never found an explanation for that. So I started to search. But as deep as I searched, I found there were a lot of things interesting that were ignored by the book, which is just a simple short introduction to these monarchs. So I decided to write these things by myself. But I had to say first, in this article it could include some ideas of myself, and maybe not the fact. But I’ll do my best to make my article believable, and close the fact of real history, which may could never be proved.

But absolutely, as the title said, this article is just a brief biography of these monarchs, because if you want to research the whole lives of them, I believe it can make a giant book for each monarchs including everything from what he ate for breakfast to who he met at night. But I can’t do that. And I may ignore something willfully to what I’m not interested in too, such as who was been chosen to be the Archbishop of Canterbury. If you are interested in that, you can search for them yourselves.

As the last thing before we get start, there are some important facts we need to learn. Anybody, as long as it’s a human, it will almost undoubtly be influenced by the time and the environment it’ve got, even if you and me. so, it is very important to understand their time before understand they themselves. But the monarchs were special. Their influence decided they could not only be the joiner of the time, but also the builder of it. It is an interesting fact, and makes it more harder to explain their links to the time. Each of these three monarchs were all symbolled a period of England, like the most famous Victoria period. And they themselves were in a greater period — or perhaps you would like to call them the ‘process of the world — too. Henry Ⅷ and ElizabethⅠlived in the Ranaissance, and Queen Victoria lived in the industrial revolution. The environment of the time made a big deal to their success.

OK, after all of these, let’s come back to the world of these three monarchs’ together with me.
